It all started like all good stories start.
With my wife Sandy saying "Stop hanging around the house! You need to get a hobby!"
It was a month or so after us having a big party at our home. Celebrating a big birthday milestone for a family member. We wanted to have a big party but didn't want to rent out a restaurant or a banquet hall, Taking out a second mortgage to pay for something like that was not in our plans. So, We decided to rent a tent and a dance floor. We looked around a found that there were options for low cost rentals and options for great service , But nothing that checked both boxes. We wanted a big tent with a dance floor, tables, chairs and some outdoor heaters to keep us warm. I couldn't get over how expensive and how unavailable everything was. I ended up buying my own tent and building my own dance floor. The vendors were all sold out for our weekend. It ended up being a challenge that I would not suggest you to do. (Unless you have a background in engineering and carpentry. Or at least being very very handy). All in all, the party was a success. My tent and dance floor worked great.
So back to Sandys suggestion. I thought about what kind of hobby I actually wanted to do.
Gardening? Woodworking?, Geocaching, Extreme Ironing???
No!!!
I wanted to try my hand at starting a business.
I love working with people,
Have the technical skills to safely do the insulations
and have many years of project management so I'm always focused on the details.
Thus, Stulak Transacting LLC. was created.
Starting from a family party and growing into a family business.
